MicroQuilter is a 100 wt. 2-ply extra-fine polyester thread designed for invisible machine applique and detail quilting. It is an extremely fine thread that can be sewn with a very small needle renders the thread virtually invisible. Superior Thread recommends a #60/8 or #70/10 needle for Home Machines and a #14 or #16 needle for Longarm Machines. It's my preferred thread to use in my bobbin when micro-stippling. The stitches are virtually invisible and melt into the quilt backing.
